The MHA Nation Infant & Toddler Program is a federally funded program is a Federally Funded program funded by Part B and Part C of the Disabilities Education Act.

The purpose of the Disabilities Education Act is to ensure educators and parents have the necessary tools to improve educational results and to expand opportunities for children who would be at risk of having substantial developmental delay if they did not receive early intervention/prevention services.

The MHA Nation Infant & Toddler Program is a federally funded program has existed since 2000. The purpose of the program is to track children and screen them using a developmental screening tool. We then monitor the child’s development through infancy and into Kindergarten, helping them make the necessary educational transitions. While in our program we provide developmental screenings, resource materials, and referrals if necessary.
